The Republic of Srpska

On April 4, 1992 was established the Special Police Brigade and its main purpose was maintaining public peace and order, eliminating terrorist groups and participating in the Homeland Defence War. On the occasion, the Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, the Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the veterans of the Special Police Brigade laid wreaths at the memorial monument to the fallen members of the Special Police, visited the Memorial Room at SAU and lit a candle in remembrance of their fellow police officers who were killed in the war.
