The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and the Minister of the Administration and Local Self-Government, Ms Senka Jujić, signed the Agreement on Electronic Data Exchange. Based on this Agreement, birth certificate services are going to obtain the information on individual’s place of residence more easily and directly, instead of in written form via mail.             This Agreement aims to improve the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior            and birth certificate services.             Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of the Administration and Local Self-Government also established electronic data exchange when determining unique designated number for newborns, readmission procedure, sending information on changing spouse’s surname after conclusion of marriage, and information from death registers. Another joint project that these two ministries realized recently was ‘e-baby’.
