The Republic of Srpska

    Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited Banja Luka Police Administration, and met with the head of the PA, Miloš Brkić, and his associates. Mr Brkić informed Minister Karan on the security situation on the territory covered by Banja Luka PA, which was assessed as satisfactory. The participants of the meeting also discussed the organization and activities of the PA. Minister Karan said that Banja Luka PA was the first in a series of police administrations he intends to visit in future with the aim of observing the situation in the field and the issues faced by the police officers in their activities. He pointed out that what he expected from police officers was to be professional and efficient in performing all their tasks and activities and exercising their police powers and competence.
