The Republic of Srpska

    Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited Zvornik Police Administration, where they met with the head of the PA, Mr Aleksandar Vasiljević, and his associates. The security situation on the territory covered by Zvornik PA was assessed as satisfactory. Another point discussed at the meeting was the upcoming special elections for the Mayor of Zvornik and the head of the Municipality of Bratunac. Minister Karan ordered all the necessary security measures and activities in the competence of the Ministry to be implemented so all the activities related to the elections in these local communities could be implemented without obstructions. Together with Director Kostrešević, Minister also visited Bratunac Police Station. Also, one of the conclusions of the meeting was that the locations for issuing personal documents at Zvornik PA and Bratunac PS (departments for identity cards, permanent and temporary residence, uniquely designated number and acquisitions) are going to work on Saturday and Sunday, 4 and 5 February 2023 from 7 AM to 3 PM.
