The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, held a meeting with Her Excellency, Ms Galit Peleg, Ambassador of Israel to BiH. During the meeting, they discussed the previous cooperation, which was assessed as satisfactory, stressing the need for its improvement.  Furthermore, they agreed that the fight against terrorism was their common interest and place for cooperation between our two countries. The cyber security improvement was also assessed as a field of further intensive cooperation, and Minister Karan informed the Ambassador about the important activities undertaken by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in the field of countering cybercrime, as well as protecting cyberspace and critical infrastructure in that area.
