The Republic of Srpska

         At today’s meeting, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Croatia Consul General in BIH, Mr Zoran Piličić, agreed that the security situation for Croatian population on the territory of the Republic of Srpska was good.     Consul General Piličić congratulated Minister Karan for his appointment and praised the work of the Republic of Srpska Police in every security segment.      Special emphasis was put on criminal offences against property, so it was agreed that the activities of police officers would be intensified in that field.      Another point that was agreed at the meeting was that the cooperation between the Ministries of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Croatia in the field of migration and countering organized crime was at a very high level.
