The Republic of Srpska

  The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević attended today the celebration of the sixth anniversary of the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka.                 In his address, Minister Karan pointed out the strong relationship between the RS MoI and the Faculty, considering the fact that the Faculty educates the potential young members of the Ministry, who would later contribute to the protection of the constitutional and legal order of the Republic of Srpska and the security of its citizens and their property. Minister Karan also mentioned that the students who graduated from the Faculty of Security Sciences had the opportunity to attend one-year long vocational training at the Ministry and consequent employment, and that the Faculty was still using the premises owned by the RS MoI.                 The Faculty of Security Sciences became an organisational unit of the University of Banja Luka six years ago, and it was established after its transformation from the College of Internal Affairs of the RS MoI into an organisational unit of the University of Banja Luka.
