The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, addressed today the participants of the Regional Conference of Directors of Police Services on the topic "Fight against High Risk Criminal Networks identified, with a special emphasis on encrypted platforms facilitating communications used by criminal syndicates – needs and responses’’.  Speaking about the importance of a uniformed police approach and coordination in the fight against organised crime, Director Kostrešević referred to the investigations performed by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and EUROPOL, as well as other police agencies. The main aim of the conference is to exchange experience regarding the establishment of modern system in the fight against organised crime. The conference is organised with the support of the "Countering Crime in The Western Balkans IPA 2019 Project", in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Montenegro and Italian Ministry of the Interior – Department of Public Security. The conference was also attended by the Head of the Administration for Countering Organised and Serious Crime, Mr Mladen Marić, and police directors from the region.
