Today, at the Zalužani Training Centre, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, presented certificates to the Ninth class of cadets of the basic training for police officers of the Gendarmerie Unit and to the Second class of the advance training of the Gendarmerie Unit who successfully completed this course. Director Kostrešević pointed out that the three-month training with the instructor team was successfully completed by the members of the Gendarmerie Units throughout the Republic of Srpska, who return to their units after they complete the training, and then continue their service. He emphasised the importance of this training, which is continuously organised for members of the Gendarmerie Unit by the Training Centre with the aim of better preparation and efficiency of police officers of the Gendarmerie Unit to respond to all security challenges. A total of forty-nine of them completed the basic training for police officers of the Gendarmerie Unit, and a total of thirty-three police officers completed the advanced training.
