The Republic of Srpska

           The police officers from Istočno Sarajevo Police Administration, together with the Administration for organised and serious crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, are realizing the action whose code name is ‘Kode’, which has lasted for several months.          By the order issued by the District Court of Istočno Sarajevo and under the supervision by the District Prosecutor’s Office of Istočno Sarajevo, searches are in progress on 27 locations, on the territory of Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Istočna Ilidža, Pale, Istočni Stari Grad, Banja Luka and Sarajevo Canton.             So far, 15 persons have been arrested.                 The action is directed against a group of persons suspected of arranging sale, distribution and monetary payments for different types of drugs (cocaine, heroin, marijuana, ecstasy and other substances used for the production of narcotic drugs) for a longer period on the territory of Istočno Sarajevo, thus committing the criminal offence of ‘Unauthorised production and trade of narcotic drugs’.            Illegal material gain obtained through the commission of this criminal offence is BAM 2,750,000.00.
