The Republic of Srpska

Members of the association ‘Women’s network of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior - Women Police Officers Network of the Republic of Srpska’ attended the two-day meeting of the Task Force for supporting the inter-institutional dialogue and gender analysis on the abuse of small arms and light weapons in BIH, which took place on 28 and 29 November in Tarčin. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Coordination Board for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (CB SALW) and law enforcement agencies in BIH, and its aim is dealing with security and safety risks of illegal possession, abuse and trade in small arms and light weapons in BIH, as well as systemic strengthening of the capacities for enforcement and promotion of gender perspectives in the field of control of small arms and light weapons.
