A VEHICLE WANTED BY INTERPOL FOUND IN BANJA LUKA

On 10 January 2024, the police officers of Banja Luka Police Administration, found and temporarily seized a passenger vehicle, brand ‘VW’, wanted by Interpol, from a person whose initials are S.V, from the town of Odžak, BIH. After performing checks, it was confirmed that the vehicle was wanted in the Republic of Germany. Another confirmed point was that S. V’s driver’s license had expired. As the police officers continued their search, they found and seized from the S.V. certain amount of white powdery substance whose morphological remind of those of ‘Cocaine’ narcotic drug. The aforementioned person was then arrested and request is going to be submitted for initiating the minor offence procedure from Article 172 of the Law on the Basics of Road Traffic Safety in BIH and Article 4 of the Law on Producing and Trade of Narcotic Drugs. The prosecutor on duty of Banja Luka District Prosecutor’s Office and the judge on duty of the Banja Luka Municipality Court – Department for minor offences, have been informed about the aforementioned.
