CONTRACTS SIGNED WITH THE CADETS OF THE 26TH CLASS OF POLICE ACADEMY

Today, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior organised the ceremony where contracts with the cadets of the 26th class of the Unit for Police Training – the Police Academy were signed, and thus, 385 cadets officially started their training. The ceremony of signing contracts with the cadets was attended by the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević. This class has the highest total number of 385 cadets, and nine of them are educated with the aim of being employed with Brčko District Police.  At the ceremony, Minister Karan pointed out that 385 best candidates were selected out of 1,000 applicants, and that, upon finishing their training, they were expected to protect all citizens and constitutional order of the Republic of Srpska. ‘By signing this contract, you are under obligation to give your best to obtain skills to do your job in future’, Minister Karan said. He pointed out that cadets had professional personnel as well as excellent conditions at their disposal to acquire knowledge. ‘I would like you to persevere, be meticulous and successful mastering the knowledge’, Minister Karan said to the cadets before they signed the contract. The head of the Administration for Police Education, Mr Mile Šikman, welcomed all cadets to the Police Academy and said that they are supposed to acquire a lot of knowledge and numerous skills. ‘We will require you to invest a lot of efforts during this training’, Mr Šikman said. A cadet, Mr Božidar Ljepoja, pointed out that he applied for the Police Academy because he finds job of a police officer to be not only honourable and honest, but also human, and that he wanted to help the citizens and contribute to their security. His colleague, Ms Milica Bošnjak, said that she applied for the Police Academy because she wished to serve the people of the Republic of Srpska, and pointed out that she was very satisfied with the conditions at the Police Academy.
