The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, visited today together with the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, Šamac Police Station, where they had a meeting with the Head of the Police Administration, Mr Stjepan Terzić, and the Police Station Commander. They discussed the security situation on the territory of these municipalities and concluded that no serious criminal offences have been registered on the territory of the municipality that might cause public concern. Additionally, there were no cases of inciting national or religious hatred, having in mind the multiethnicity of the area. Also, the staff in this police station consists of the newly-employed, young police officers.   This visit was organized with the aim of keeping up to date with the police work on the field.
