The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited today together with the Head of the Doboj Police Administration, Mr Slobodan Radinković, the Police Station Department Vukosavlje and police stations in Brod and Derventa. They held meetings with the commanders of police stations from Modriča, Brod, Derventa and Vukosavlje and discussed the security situation on the territory of these municipalities, evaluating it as favorable. The Minister and the Director received information about the number of the newly-employed, young police officers and the equipment in these police stations. The visit also represented an occasion to meet with the Head of the Vukosavlje Municipality, who said that the cooperation between the police and the local community was good. These visits were organized with the aim of keeping up to date with the police work on the field and the challenges the police officers face with.
