The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended today in Sarajevo the strategic meeting of the heads of police agencies and prosecutors’ offices in BiH. The participants discussed the most important issues related to the cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices and police agencies, as well as the activities in countering organized crime and corruption. The meeting topics mostly referred to overview of the results of the measures and activities that were taken in prosecution of cases of corruption and organized crime, with particular emphasis on high-level corruption and organized crime. They also discussed the proposal of the decision on activities of the police and prosecutors in relation to cryptocurrencies and the Guidelines on actions and cooperation of police agencies and prosecutor’s offices in informing the public.    The meeting was organized by the BIH High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council in the framework of the project ″Strengthening prosecutorial capacities in the criminal justice system″.
