           The celebration of the Republic of Srpska Police Day started in the capital of Srpska with a concert of the Police Orchestra in the city centre, exhibition of police equipment and demonstration exercise of the police officers from Banja Luka Police Administration and the Gendarmerie Unit of the Banja Luka PA at Trg Krajine. Minister Siniša Karan and the Police Director, Siniša Kostrešević, attended the event, along with numerous citizens of Banja Luka.           Minister Karan said that the aim of the event was to present the skills and the equipment of the RS MoI members and to send out a message that the citizens had a reliable partner in the RS MoI.             Minister Karan congratulated the members of the Ministry for successful demonstration exercise and pointed out that it showed the extent of investments in the Ministry and the ability of police officers to cope with emergency and hostage situations.             He emphasized that it was important to encourage young people to be members of the Ministry, and to send a message to the citizens that they had a reliable partner and that they were safe.             According to his statement, the security level has been raised to a higher degree in the past few weeks, giving a higher sense of security to the citizens.
