The Republic of Srpska

At the conference ‘Infotech, ICT Evolution 2024’, organised by ASIT- Association for Computing, Informatics, telecommunications and New Media of Serbia, the representatives of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior presented the digitalisation process in the Republic of Srpska. Deputy Head of the Administration for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of the Republic of Srpska, Ms Svjetlana Sarić, presented the projects realised in the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior as well as the plans for future in the field of ICT and contemporary technological solutions. Within the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, more than 60 ICT solutions have been implemented for the support of police work and other services, and these were completely realised using internal development resources in most cases. In future, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is planning to open new safe communication channels towards citizens and business community. At the Conference, the topics that prevail are those related to the use of artificial intelligence in business systems, public administration and cyber security. The participants of the Conference are eminent global and domestic companies, as well as public administration bodies.
