The Republic of Srpska

       The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, on behalf of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, expressed condolences to the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Ivica Dačić, all members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, and the family and friends of the police officer who was murdered last night in Loznica.       Minister Karan expressed his hope that the perpetrators of this heinous crime would be brought to justice and sentenced to maximum punishments. He reminded that ‘the attack on the police officers is a warning for all of us that the fight against violence must not falter. It is also a reminder that the job of a police officer was one of the most difficult jobs’.        The Minister expressed wishes for quick recovery to the police officer who was wounded in the attack.
