The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended today in Trebinje a meeting with the management of the Brčko District Police, Federal Police Administration, SIPA, BiH Border Police and the BiH Foreigners’ Affairs Service on the models for improving the interagency cooperation and exchange of information. The meeting was organized by the EU Delegation to BiH and it was concluded that the police cooperation was good, but they analyzed the possible security challenges in the work of police forces, such as illegal migration and the lack of staff due to retirement of a significant number of police officers.
