Today, the police officers of Banja Luka Police Administration arrested a person whose initials are I.J, from Gradačac, because the checks confirmed that there was an international arrest warrant issued for this person for the commission of the criminal offence ‘Murder’. Namely, on 21 August 2024, a victim reported to the competent police station that on that day, they suffered a physical assault from the I.J. The I.J. was served a minor offence warrant for the commission of minor offence from Article 12 of the Law on Public Order and Peace. Acting upon the aforementioned report, after performing all checks, the police officers confirmed that there is a red diffuse warrant issued for the I.J. by NCB Interpol Zagreb, Croatia, for the purpose of the execution of the criminal conviction for the commission of the criminal offence ‘Murder’. The prosecutor on duty of Banja Luka Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed on the aforementioned event, as well as the judge of the Court of BIH, who ordered the police officers to bring the person to the Court of BIH.
