The Republic of Srpska

         A representative of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior who is the Republic Coordinator for countering human trafficking in the Republic of Srpska participated in the meeting of national coordinators, reporters and other mechanisms for countering human trafficking, held from 11 to 13 September in Vienna, Austria.        As a panelist, the Coordinator presented the aspect of including organisations of civil society, especially the inclusion of surviving victims of human trafficking in countering human trafficking.        To more than 50 national coordinators coming from OSCE participating states, the Coordinator presented the established referral mechanism for countering human trafficking, some of the activities from the Action Plan of the Republic of Srpska referring to the inclusion of civil society organisations and surviving victims of human trafficking in creating policies for countering human trafficking, as well as their role in rehabilitation, resocialization and reintegration of the victims of human trafficking.
