On 14 October 2024, around 1:25 AM, the police officers from Kozluk Police Station arrested one person whose initials are S.K, from Sarajevo, based on suspicion that they committed the criminal offence of ‘People Smuggling’, from Article 189 of BIH Criminal Code. On the occasion of performing their regular tasks and activities, the police officers controlled a passenger vehicle, brand ‘Škoda’, whose driver was the aforementioned S.K, who was transporting four persons of African-Asian origin. The prosecutor on duty of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been informed on the event and its details, and then they ordered for the report against the S.K. on the committed criminal offence to be submitted.
