    The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited today the Mrkonjić Grad Police Administration, where they held a meeting with the head of the Police Administration, Mr Milan Milekić. They discussed the security situation on the territory of the municipality and agreed it was good.        It was concluded that there was a decrease in the number of criminal offences, and that the number of vehicles in transit was increased during the tourist season, resulting in the increased number of traffic accidents, but fortunately the number of casualties decreased compared to the previous period.       They agreed that the introduction of the video surveillance system in Mrkonjić Grad proved to be useful in solving criminal cases, prevention of disturbances of public peace and order and general maintenance of security situation.     During the visit, the Minister and the Director were also able to supervise the works on the reconstruction and extensions of the PA buildings.      The building of the Mrkonjić Grad Police Administration is one of the oldest police administration buildings, and for that reason the Ministry started its reconstruction. The project value is BAM 924,290.10 including VAT, and the reconstruction deadline is nine months.
