The Republic of Srpska

       Last night, the footballers of ‘Borac’ football club from Banjaluka realised a new European victory by amazing result change in the match against the Austrian football club ‘LASK’. The result of the game was 2:1 in favour of the footballers from Banjaluka, but this time, they also celebrated the record that has never been achieved in BIH football before. The whole atmosphere surrounding the match itself was rather positive, and in the audience, there were the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BIH, Mr Georg Diwald.             Namely, based on the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Directorate General for Public Security of the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria and our Ministry regarding the cooperation in the organisation of international football match, the match in Banja Luka was also monitored by three spotters from the Republic of Austria, whose task was providing support and pieces of advice during the aforementioned match.                As a result of all the measures undertaken by Banja Luka Police Administration, there were no incidents at this sport event.
