The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended the Strategic Forum of Chief Prosecutors and Managers of Police Authorities, held today on the premises of Brčko District Prosecutor’s Office. At the meeting, the most important issues of cooperation between the prosecutors’ offices and police agencies were discussed, as well as the activities of prosecutor’s offices and police agencies in investigations that resulted from the decoded communication through the applications ‘SKY’ and ‘Anom’. On this occasion, the problems in practical work were also considered, so the conclusions whose aim is to improve the activities in this type of investigations were adopted. This type of cooperation of prosecutors’ offices and police agencies is implemented with the support of the Division for improving the efficiency and quality of work in prosecutors’ offices and the project ‘Strengthening prosecutors’ capacities in the system of criminal justice’ of the Secretariat of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BIH. The Strategic Forum of Chief Prosecutors and Managers of Police Authorities is continuing their successful cooperation and will work on coming to the same level of perspectives and exchange of practical experience among institutions.
