The Republic of Srpska

Owing to the efforts of the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the football fans at the City Stadium in Banja Luka had the opportunity to watch the first match of the UEFA Conference League Round of 16 between the BiH champion Borac and Austrian Rapid in a safe and positive atmosphere.

 In order to provide support and advice during the match, three spotters from the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria participated in securing the event. This type of cooperation is based on the Protocol for the deployment of visiting police delegations at international football matches, signed between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria.

This is a continuation of the successful cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria, including the cooperation with the Liaison Officer’s Office of the Austrian Embassy in BiH.
