The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior presented today its new official website, along with a set of electronic services developed by the experts from the ICT Administration of the Ministry. These tools were created with the aim of improving the work of police officers in the field and to offer citizens more efficient and higher-quality services.

Ms Divna Lovrić Bojanić, Head of the ICT Administration, stated that the website was built using state-of-the-art software tools and adheres to strict security standards.

“The site is modern, user-friendly, and highly functional. We have included a contact form to facilitate communication with citizens, as their feedback is crucial to improving our services,” said Ms Lovrić Bojanić.

She further explained that the Ministry has implemented electronic data exchange with other institutions of the Republic of Srpska, emphasizing the need to fully digitize internal processes.

She also highlighted that the digitalization effort is the result of extensive work by engineers within the ICT Administration and the corresponding units across regional police administrations.

Ms Mirna Miljanović, Head of the Department for Public Relations, noted that the Ministry was among the first institutions in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina to launch a website back in 2001, and has since continuously upgraded its digital presence.

“We tried to create a website that would reflect our identity while also responding to the needs of our users — the citizens. The fact that nearly one million people visited our website in just six months clearly shows the interest of the public in our content,” Miljanović said, adding that all citizen-relevant information related to the work of the Ministry is now consolidated in one place.
