The Republic of Srpska

Today, the newly appointed Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Željko Budimir, took the office from the previous Minister, Mr Siniša Karan. 

Mr Karan expressed his congratulations to the newly appointed Minister and wished him all the best in his future activities. 

Minister Budimir pointed out that his priority would be the improvement of material-technical resources of the Ministry of the Interior. 

‘That is going to be the field of my special focus’, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, said.

According to him, during the first 100 days of the Government, his aim will be to realise the planned activities by implementing a special new dynamics of the activities of the Ministry. This will also include working on the better organisation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.

‘Activities are going to be continued - especially those related to international cooperation, since the goal is to improve it’, Minister Budimir pointed out.
