The Republic of Srpska

The cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the General Administration of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs for the City of Moscow is exceptional and it is to be continued in future through experience exchange and organising specialist trainings for police officers – this is the main conclusion of the meeting of the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir and the head of the HQ of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs for the City of Moscow, Mr Oleg Anatolyevich Baranov.

The management of the General Administration of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomed Minister Budimir as a part of his first official visit to their Administration by playing the anthems of the Republic of Srpska and the Russian Federation. The equipment, vehicles and weapons used by the members of the General Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the City of Moscow were presented to the delegation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, whose member was also the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević. 

In addition to organising trainings referring to improving the knowledge in countering different forms of crime, forensics, cybercrime and training of service dogs, the possibilities of educating members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior at institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Russian Federation were discussed. 

Minister Budimir invited Mr Baranov and his associates to visit the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and Banjaluka.
