The Republic of Srpska

On the occasion of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Željko Budimir, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Siniša Kostrešević, attended the grand military parade titled ”Power of Unity”, held today in Belgrade.

The parade started with the Serbian national anthem, followed by an honorary artillery salute from six cannons with ten salvos, and the unveiling of a Serbian flag measuring 300 meters in length and weighing 300 kilograms. 

In addition to the officials of the Republic of Srpska, the parade was attended by the officials of the Republic of Serbia, political figures representing Serbs and the region, numerous international guests, and military delegations from France, China, Hungary, and the United States, as well as many citizens who gathered in front of the Palace of Serbia. 

The military parade marks the celebration of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, showcasing approximately 2,500 pieces of weaponry and military equipment, more than 600 military vehicles, 70 aircraft, and 20 naval vessels.
