At the Training Centre, today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior opened the ‘Gendarmerie All-Around’, in which all units of Gendarmerie participated, as well as the members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit and the First Battalion of the 6th Infantry Brigade of the 3rd Infantry ‘the Republic of Srpska’ Regiment. 

Minister Budimir said that the Ministry of the Interior had well-trained units and that the ‘Gendarmerie All-Around’ would be useful for them to check their own readiness. ‘The competition would contribute to improve their competence in performing tasks, protecting institutions and the citizens of the Republic of Srpska’, Minister Budimir said. 

He added that the participants of the competition were going to show their abilities until Friday, when the best teams are going to announced.

The ‘Gendarmerie All-Around’ is a sport competition realised for the first time by the model of the competitions of the best special units in the world and includes the performance of different tactical and firearms tasks. 

The competition is organised by the Gendarmerie at the Training Centre in Zalužani.
