The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Siniša Kostrešević, met yesterday in Banja Luka with the newly appointed liaison officer of the French Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Louis Boquien.

During the meeting, the long-standing successful operational cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska and the French liaison officer was reaffirmed, along with cooperation in professional training and exchange of experience.

Three key areas of cooperation were highlighted at the meeting: countering terrorism, countering organized crime, and the fight against illegal migration.

The newly appointed liaison officer, Louis Boquien, is on a two-day visit to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, during which he will meet with representatives of the Unit for International Cooperation and European Integration within the Office of the Minister, as well as with operational administrations of the Ministry.
