On the occasion of celebrating its saint patron’s day – Saint Archangel Michael, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is organizing Open Door Days with the aim of presenting the activities of our police officers to our youngest citizens and developing their trust in the police.

As a result, at the Training of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the three-day event started today and during this period, around 1,100 children from pre-school and school institutions on the territory of Banja Luka region are going to visit the Training Centre. Today, they were greeted by the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević. 

Minister Budimir said that the event was a manner to establish trust in the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, whose work is transparent. 

Equipment and means used by the police officers in their work were presented to the children today. They also had an opportunity to visit the Mounted Police Unit, be introduced to the service dogs and the activities of the Helicopter Unit of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit.
