The Republic of Srpska

Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited the police stations Han Pijesak, Sokolac, Rogatica, Novo Goražde, and Kalinovik, where they, the commanders of these stations, and heads of the police administrations Istočno Sarajevo and Foča, discussed the security situation in this part of the Republic of Srpska. 

The main topics of the meeting were work conditions of police officers and the equipment necessary for their efficient work.

The Minister pointed out the significance of cooperation between the police and the local community, especially from the aspect of prevention.
