Mr Željko Budimir, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, attended the Assembly of the Union of the employees in internal affairs.

During the meeting, the Minister informed the Union representatives that he had visited all police stations to evaluate the working conditions and the challenges faced by the staff. It was pointed out that they had defined the priorities in the areas of equipment, weapons, protective gear, as well as infrastructure projects that have been announced.

Minister Budimir also briefed the Union on the adopted budget and the planned projects for the upcoming period. He emphasized his openness to cooperation and particularly pointed out that the opinion of the Union was important to him on numerous key issues in the system of internal affairs.

Both sides expressed mutual willingness to cooperate and support each other to improve workers’ conditions and strengthen the security system.
