The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended the unveiling and consecration of the Central Memorial on the occasion of the Republic of Srpska Day and the Day of the Veterans of the Homeland-Defensive War. 

The Memorial was built to honour 25,830 fallen fighters of the Republic of Srpska during the Homeland-Defensive War, and names of all of them are carved on it.

The ceremony was attended by the Republic of Srpska officials of the highest level, as well as the representatives of the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
