The Republic of Srpska

In Budapest, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, attended the Ceremonial Academy on the occasion of Saint Sava’s Day– the central celebration of the Serb community in Hungary.

The Academy started with the anthems of the Republic of Srpska, the Republic of Serbia and Hungary. The organizer or the event was the Self-government of Serbs in Hungary in cooperation with the Eparchy of Buda. 

The Academy of Saint Sava was attended by the high officials of the Hungarian Government, the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia. 

This year, thanks to the selfless support of the Hungarian Government, as parts of the Season of Serb-Hungarian culture, both the Academy and Ball on the occasion of celebrating Saint Sava’s Day were held at one of the most beautiful locations in Budapest – the Vigadó Concert Hall.
