The Republic of Srpska

Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited the Police Station Laktaši. During the visit, they held a meeting with the leadership of the Banja Luka Police Administration and the Chief of the Laktaši Police Station. They discussed the current security situation in the city in the context of the repeat early elections for the President of the Republic of Srpska. 

Minister Budimir emphasised that all necessary measures and actions would be taken to ensure that the election day runs smoothly, stressing that police officers would not allow any disruption of public peace and order during this period. 

Minister was informed about activities undertaken by the Police Station to maintain a favourable security position.
