The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, met with the honorary consul, Mr Jörg Hofreiter. On this occasion, Minister Budimir expressed his gratitude for continuous support Mr Hofreiter provided to the students of the High School of Internal Affairs through the realisation of the course of German language, thus contributing to the strengthening of their skills and capabilities. 

The meeting was attended by the chief of The Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria, based in Vienna, Mr Mladen Filipović, who initiated and supported the realisation of this activity.

Minister Budimir and Prof. Hofreiter pointed out the significance of continuing the cooperation and agreed that speaking foreign languages was very important for the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, especially in the context of the intensification of international cooperation and contemporary security challenges. 

As an author, Prof. Hofreiter also presented his ‘Police dictionary’ at the High School of Internal Affairs, and 250 copies of this contribution to the international cooperation in the field of security were donated to the High School of Internal Affairs on this occasion.
