The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended a meeting of the Gendarmerie Command and the unit commanders and team leaders, during which they presented the new organizational structure of the Gendarmerie and provided the guidelines for the future work and operations.

The Minister and the Police Director also addressed the current security challenges in the Republic of Srpska and the wider region, resulting from the emerging crisis in the Middle East. They emphasized their commitment to ensuring that the Gendarmerie continues to carry out its duties and tasks at a high professional level, so that, together with other organizational units of the Ministry, it can guarantee the security of all citizens of the Republic of Srpska.
