‘’The cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Faculty of Security Sciences is at the highest level possible. Graduates of this faculty often find employments within the Ministry of the Interior, and we achieve cooperation during their studies, through practical trainings and joint activities’’, Mr Željko Budimir, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, said. 

The graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka was organised to mark the anniversary of this institution. In his address at the graduation ceremony, Minister Budimir emphasised that the Republic of Srpska Government and the Ministry of the Interior were key partners of this faculty, and that students completed part of their studies at the Ministry of the Interior through practical training in accordance with the curriculum. 

He added that the capacities of the Ministry of the Interior would be expanded in future, and that, accordingly, cooperation with this and other faculties would be further strengthened.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty, Mr Predrag Ćeranić, presented a letter of appreciation to the Head of the Training Centre of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Vedran Simić, for contributions to the development of the Faculty.

The Faculty of Security Sciences is the youngest member of the University of Banja Luka, established through the transformation of the College of Internal Affairs, which previously operated within the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
