The Republic of Srpska

 

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, held today a meeting with the municipal mayor of Ugljevik, Mr Dragan Gajić. During the meeting, the two officials discussed cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior and the local community.

It was concluded that the security situation on the territory of that municipality was stable.

They also discussed the introduction of a video surveillance system for public areas in the municipality and agreed that such a system was necessary in order to further improve the safety of citizens.

In addition, one of the topics of the meeting included technical matters aimed at creating better working conditions for police officers.
