The Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Srpska will procure 400 different types of vehicles in the following period, with the Republic of Srpska Government allocating BAM 30 million for this purpose.

“There is a need to procure new vehicles, as the average age of the existing fleet within the Ministry of the Interior exceeds ten years,” said the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, following the session of the Republic of Srpska Government.

He added that the procurement would include passenger vehicles, off-road vehicles, vans, as well as specialized vehicles and work machines.

“We are continuing to equip the Ministry, particularly when it comes to weapons and equipment, but also in terms of infrastructure development and improving working conditions for the members of the Ministry. We will soon start the implementation of the projects related to the renovation of police administration buildings,” announced Minister Budimir.
