The Republic of Srpska

Police officer of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Ms Marija Markanović, participated in a professional training program titled “Women in Policing – Strengthening the Capacities and Professionalism of Women in Police and Civilian Roles,” held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, from January 17 to February 12, 2026.

During the training, participants acquired knowledge and skills in the field of peacekeeping missions, protection of civilians in conflict, international humanitarian law, ethical conduct and leadership, as well as practical competencies for responding to crisis situations.

The training was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
