The Republic of Srpska

During the meeting that was held between the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Rick Holtzapple, it was concluded that cooperation between the Ministry and the OSCE Mission was good and would continue in the future through a series of joint activities. 

They discussed the previously implemented joint projects and initiatives in the areas of small arms and light weapons control, prevention of domestic violence, countering human trafficking, and addressing hate speech—fields in which cooperation has been particularly intensive to date.

Minister Budimir emphasized that the security situation in the Republic of Srpska remains at a satisfactory level, adding that the Ministry of the Interior will continue to carry out all its duties in a professional and responsible manner.
