The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Belgrade, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the Republic of Serbia Police Director, Mr Dragan Vasiljević, discussed the current security challenges and improvement of cooperation in countering all forms of crime, which is already assessed as very good and highly professional.

The successful cooperation, implemented through joint operations, exchange of operational information, study visits and participation in regional initiatives was especially noted. Excellent cooperation was realized in countering different forms of crime, especially in countering the smuggling of narcotics, organized crime and terrorism. 

The participants of the meeting noted that the continuous experience and good practices exchange achieved great results, and that further strengthening of cooperation between the special units of the two police agencies would contribute to providing a more efficient response to the most complex security challenges. 

Director Vasiljević and Director Kostrešević confirmed their full dedication to continuing and intensifying cooperation with the aim of increasing the security of all our citizens.
