The Republic of Srpska

The commemoration at the Donja Gradina Memorial Area, marking the Remembrance Day for the victims of genocide against Serbs, Jews, and Roma in the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) from 1941 to 1945, which was attended by 14,000 citizens from all parts of the region, was held in a peaceful and dignified manner. 

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior expresses its gratitude to all citizens for their dignified behavior, as well as all competent services for their successful cooperation and professional engagement. 

Police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior took planned and coordinated measures and action aimed at securing the event, as well as ensuring the safe traffic flow on all routed leading to the site of the commemoration. As a result of adequate organisation and the involvement of police members, traffic proceeded without interruption and with no significant delays.
