The Republic of Srpska

Today, on the occasion of marking the eleventh anniversary of the work of the Administration for Protection of Persons and Buildings of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, this Administration organised sports games for its members at the Training Centre. 

The event was attended by the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, who showed their support for the members of the Administration through their presence. 

Sports competitions were held in futsal, table tennis, tug-of-war, long jump, shooting, 3x3 basketball, and volleyball. 

The marking anniversary will be continued with further activities, including a reception for retired members, a memorial service for fallen colleagues, and as well as visits to their gravesites and their family members. 

Within these activities, a humanitarian fundraising campaign will be implemented, which will be presented to the families of the deceased members of the Administration. 

The Administration for Protecting Persons and Buildings plays an extremely important role in the security system of the Republic of Srpska since it is competent for the protection of the high-ranking officials, foreign delegations, and for securing the facilities of special security importance.
