The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, hosted today in Banja Luka the Commander of European Union Force in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Maurizio Fronda, during a visit to the Training Center of the Ministry of the Interior of Republic of Srpska.

During the meeting, they both reaffirmed the good cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska and EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing their mutual commitment to continuing this cooperation in the future period. 

Commander Fronda emphasized that EUFOR, within the scope of its mandate, remains fully committed to providing support through continuous engagement in maintaining a stable and secure environment for all citizens.

During the visit to the Training Center, the Commander was presented with its equipment and technical resources, training grounds and facilities, as well as a tactical and technical exhibition and a demonstration exercise performed by members of the Gendarmerie Unit, mounted police officers, and police service dogs.
